Dr. Puckett grew up in Orlando and has lived in Jacksonville since graduating from UF College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 (the same class as Dr Sleeper.)   She knew by age 12 that she wanted to be a veterinarian, and has been grateful every day for such purposeful and challenging work. She and her husband, Brett, were blessed with a son and daughter, both of whom were home-schooled. For family fun, they love to spend time mountain biking,  hiking on the Appalachian Trail,  watching The Simpsons, or just generally bugging one another. On quieter days, she enjoys writing letters on beautiful stationary, tending to her yard, reading, and playing hide-and-seek with her cat, Buck.  Although there are 4 wonderful cats in the Puckett Family,  the entire family agrees and wants it publicly known that Buck is the coolest of them all.
